Vatican responded to appeal of CMO chairman on Nagorno Karabakh

The chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office Allahshukur Pashazadeh had appealed to religious leaders of the world, the leaders of prestigious international bodies in Patriotic War lasting 44 days, and call on them to support Azerbaijan’s righteous position, CMO told APA.

The Vatican has responded to the letter of the chairman of CMO sent to Pope Francis. The document, signed by Edgar Pena Parra, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vatican State Secretariat reads: “Your Excellency, I express my deep gratitude to you for your recent letter to Pope Francis on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. His Holiness Pope Francis has read your letter attentively, prays for a just and peaceful settlement of the conflict for the prosperity of all the peoples of the Caucasus.”
