Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has issued a statement on II Qaregin’s visit to Khankandi, the press service of CMO told APA.
The statement says that the Armenian Church did not support the efforts of religious leaders aimed at a peaceful, just settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Armenian Apostolic Church did not begin to promote the ideas of peace and cooperation, but, on the contrary, justified the criminal acts of Armenian political leaders who ignore the decisions of the UN and other international organizations: this visit made revanchist statements.
