Head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs: “We condemn destruction of historical, cultural monuments in occupied Azerbaijani lands”

“I declare clearly that we are with friendly and fraternal country Azerbaijan on the resolution of the Nagorno Garabagh conflict,” the head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs Ali Erbash who participates in the 2nd Summit of World Religious Leaders in Baku stated.

“We condemn the destruction of historical, cultural monuments in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. The destruction of mosques, graves, in one word, attacks at the values of Islam are unacceptable,” stated the head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs.

He noted that a terrorist has no religion, belief: “Terrorism hurts everybody. Turkey has been fighting against PKK, ISIS, FETO terrorist organizations for a long time. World leaders should support the Turkish fight against terrorism.”
