Al-Quds (Jerusalem) is the capital of Palestine and this belongs to Muslims, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Haji Allahshukur Pashazade said on Tuesday, APA reports.
He stressed that a foreign intervention in Jerusalem will bring on a catastrophe.
“This is already happening. Fifty-nine Muslims were killed and about 2,000 more injured during the protests in Gaza. We experienced a similar aggression in January 1990 and now the same scenario is unfolding over there. The Armenian aggression on us was the same,” Pashazade added.
He emphasized that al-Quds is a holy land of Muslims.
“What is happening in al-Quds today stems from lack of unity among Muslim countries and some countries are skillfully taking advantage of this,” the CMO chairman said.
