On October 7, employees of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, the State Security Service and local executive authorities raided the offices of two religious communities (“Binagadi” and “Irfan” religious communities) based in Baku in order to verify information on violations of the rules on religious organizations.

The raids revealed the execution of illegal religious rituals by both communities, the State Committee told APA.

Protocols were drawn up under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Offences in relation to Jalal Ahadov and Abdullha Hasanzade for the execution of illegal religious rituals. The documents were sent to a relevant court.
