Employees of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations have raided the office of a religious community in Baku’s Sabail district, seizing 59 banned religious books, 19 videotapes, 27 DVD and 80 CD disks, the committee told APA on Thursday.
The State Committee conducted the raid in coordination with the Interior Ministry, the State Security Service and the Sabail District executive Authority.
Moreover, things containing elements of superstition were found in the office, said the committee.
Law-enforcement authorities have launched an investigation into the fact.
