Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. On October 26, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations and law-enforcement authorities have jointly conducted raids in six religious stores in Baku’s Yasamal district.
The purpose of the raids was to determine whether the stores engaged in selling religious books and goods are functioning in accordance with the law.
The raids revealed that four of the stores are engaged in specialized selling, while 16 banned religious books were seized from other stores.
An investigation is underway into the violations.
