Number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan this year decreased by 4,4 times

In January-March of this year, 117,2 thousand or 4,4 times less of foreigners and stateless people have visited Azerbaijan from 128 countries of the world in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, these visits have been implemented mainly for the purpose of non-tourism, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

33% of visitors visiting Azerbaijan are from Russia, 27.9% from Turkey, 16.2% from Iran, 10.6% from Georgia, 2.4% from Ukraine, 1.1% from Great Britain, 1 % were citizens of Belarus, 0.7% each from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, 0.6% from Turkmenistan, 0.5% each from Italy and Germany, and 4.8% from other countries. 93,4% of them are men, and 6,6% are women.
