Ambassador: “The number of Mexican tourists visiting Azerbaijan has increased by 20%”

The number of Mexican tourists visiting Azerbaijan has increased by 20% during last years, said Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores, Ambassador of Mexico to Azerbaijan told journalists, APA-Economics reports.

According to the ambassador, an increase of 10% in the number of tourists visiting Mexico from Azerbaijan is observed.

“Strong economic relationships have been established between countries. For example, tequila is imported to Azerbaijan from Mexico and an increase in this import is observed. So, if 5 trucks of tequila were delivered to the country in 2016, this number is estimated thousands in recent years,” the ambassador stated.
