In the first half of the current year, the number of Azerbaijani tourists visited Georgia increased by 8.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, Georgian National Tourism Agency's preliminary report says, APA’s local bureau reports.
It was stated that in January-June of 2019, 124 780 tourists arrived in Georgia from Azerbaijan and this is 10 128 tourists or 8,8 % more compared to the same period of the previous year.
Note that in January-June of the previous year, the number of Azerbaijani tourists visited Georgia amounted to 114 652.
