Riga, the capital of Latvia, has hosted two international rhythmic gymnastics tournaments, titled Baltic Hoop and Riga Spring, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation told ONA.
The Azerbaijani national team took part in both of the tournaments.
Azerbaijan’s Veronika Hudis advanced to two finals at the Baltic Hoop. She took the 8th place in club and hoop exercises.
In all-round exercises Hudis took the 10th place and another representative of Azerbaijan, Darya Sorokina, took the 13th place.
Also representatives of Azerbaijan participated in 4 finals at the Riga Spring. Narmina Samadova won a bronze medal in exercises with a ribbon. Another gymnast, Arzu Jalilova, took the fifth place in exercises with a rope.
