Holding the Europa League final in Baku is a huge step in the development of football in Azerbaijan, said Sergei Pryadkin, the president of the Russian Football Premier League (RFPL), ONA reports.
Earlier, the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), Alexander Cheferin, called the organization of the Europa League final in Baku ideal.
“We are not strangers here, we have very good contact with the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan, just excellent. Carrying out the Europa League final is a huge step in the development of football in the country, I just want to enjoy the game, see the spectacular final match, ”said Pryadkin.
