The Victory Parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory over fascism has been held on Red Square in Moscow City, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

The parade has been attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Uzbekistan Shovket Mirziyoyev, the president of Serbia Alexander Vucic, and the leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

Germany, France, as well as the USA have been represented in the Victory Parade at the level of ambassadors.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan has been represented in the parade by the minister of defense, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov.

The parade involving over 13 thousand military servicemen, and 234 units of combat equipment has been reviewed by Russia’s defense minister, army general Sergey Shoygu.

The minister of defense reviewing the parade on the cabriolet of Aurus brand manufactured in Russia has reported to the Commander-in-Chief-President Vladimir Putin that the troops of all branches are ready for the parade.

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a speech before the commencement of the parade. The memory of the people who died in World War II was honored with 1-minute silence.

Then the parade started. Firstly 10 parade personnel in military suit of 1943 have passed by the tribune.

Parade staffs of 12 countries, including Azerbaijani militants have also passed by the tribune.

Parade personnel of Azerbaijani Army, including 75 military servicemen has passed with Aztex automate, produced in Azerbaijan.

14,000 troops and several hundred military machines have taken part in the Victory Day parade, including 30 historic T-34 tanks. Modern vehicles will be also participating, including AFV Terminator, T-72, and T-14 Armata tanks, 9K720 Iskander missile systems, and many other cutting-edge military hardware.

Nearly 80 veterans of the Great Patriotic War have watched the parade from tribunes of the Red Square.
