Kazakhstan reports 72 new COVID-19 and 263 pneumonia cases

Kazakhstan registered 72 new COVID-19 cases by the morning of September 17, APA reports citing AKI Press.

These new cases included 20 in East Kazakhstan region, 9 in Nur-Sultan, 7 in Atyrau region, 6 in Karaganda region, 5 in Pavlodar region, 5 in North Kazakhstan region, 4 in Almaty, 3 in Akmola reigon, 2 in Almaty region, 2 in Kostanai region, 2 in Kyzylorda region, 1 in Aktobe region, 1 in Jambyl region, 1 in Turkestan region.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases made 107,056.

188 patients recovered from coronavirus infection. The total number of recoveries reached 101,455.

263 pneumonia cases with coronavirus symptoms were registered. 72 patients recovered from pneumonia and 3 died.

Since August 1, the total number of pneumonia with coronavirus symptoms made 30,337. Some 26,478 recovered and 335 died of pneumonia.
