Kazakhstan reports 722 new coronavirus cases, 100,164 in total

722 new coronavirus cases were registered in Kazakhstan for the past 24 hours. 374 cases are asymptomatic, the Ministry of Health said, APA reports citing AKI Press.

These new cases included 156 in Nur-Sultan, 120 in Almaty, 90 in East Kazakhstan region, 87 in Karaganda region, 51 in West Kazakhstan region, 34 in North Kazakhstan region, 30 in Kostanai region, 23 in Pavlodar region, 23 in Akmolar region, 23 in Turkestan region, 20 in Jambyl region, 19 in Mangistau region, 17 in Almaty region, 11 in Atyrau region, 7 in Shymkent, 6 in Kyzylorda region, 5 in Aktobe region.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since March 13 reached 100,164. This figure does not include coronavirus pneumonia, since the Ministry of Health still does not include pneumonia cases into the country's tally of coronavirus cases.
