Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has touched on some details of the war that happened in Karabakh at the meeting of the parliament held today, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

N. Pashinyan noted that a number of speculations regarding the mentioned issue are circulating in recent days and these should be clarified.

The prime minister has commented on the statement made by the former Chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan in November 2020.

According to him, allegedly, Gasparyan's statement on the fourth day of the war about the need to stop military operations has nothing to do with reality: “Onik Gasparyan has not said such a thing, what he said have been officially written, as well as there is a transcript. We are talking about the meeting of the Security Council on September 30, 2020. Gasparyan has said at that meeting that, on the contrary, the enemy could not get any success, the army is carrying out its duty and will continue to carry out its duties till the end”.
