Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine "Sputnik V" is effective against any dose of the novel coronavirus, Alexander Ginzburg, director of the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology told reporters on Friday, APA reports citing TASS.
"The vaccine’s immune response documented currently among volunteers is enough to counter any dose of COVID-19 that you could imagine," he said.
Note that on August 11, Russia became the first country to register a coronavirus vaccine, which was named Sputnik V.
