Russia's FM: Meeting of Open Skies party states set for July 6

Russian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ermakov said on Wednesday that all party states who signed the Open Skies Treaty will hold a conference on July 6 on the exit of the United States from the program, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Yermakov told RIA News that the "preliminary conference plan is scheduled for July 6, at which all key aspects of the Open Skies Treaty, which is very important for European security, will be considered."

United States President Donald Trump said last month that he may reach an arms deal with Russia. However, he added that the US will likely pull out of the Open Skies Treaty to force Russia to enter talks on the deal.
