"Russia has played an important role in ending the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh," Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly, APA reports.
Putin said that Russia has always supported the important role of the UN in international affairs.
"We have always supported the role of the United Nations in finding a solution to the conflict. We have contributed to the de-escalation of tensions and dialogue in Syria and Libya. Russia has also played an important role in ending the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh," he said.
