President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's draft decree on sending Turkish troops to Azerbaijan is an internal procedure provided for in the country's legislation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the information that the document on the deployment of Turkish troops in Azerbaijan has been submitted to the country's parliament, APA reports.
"The point is that there will be a monitoring center in Azerbaijan. It is necessary to send the Turkish military there. This is an internal procedure provided by the legislation of the Republic of Turkey. This is Turkey's internal affair. As for the agreement on the establishment of a joint monitoring center in Azerbaijan, it is a product of a bilateral agreement between Russia and Turkey," said Peskov.
