At least 10 FARC dissidents killed in Colombia bombing, military says

No less than ten members of a bunch of FARC insurgent dissidents have been killed in an armed forces bombing in Colombia’s southeastern jungle, the pinnacle of the navy mentioned on Monday, APA reports citing Reuters.

Although the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) signed a peace accord in 2016 and most members demobilized, some former fighters reject the deal and proceed to battle the federal government, which accuses them of unlawful mining, drug manufacturing and different crimes.

The navy bombing befell in a rural space of Morichal Nuevo municipality, in Guainia province, a prime space for cultivation of coca, the bottom ingredient in cocaine.

“Right now we’ve got, partially, the loss of life throughout the course of navy operations of ten bandits from this group and an vital seizure of materiel,” Common Luis Fernando Navarro, the pinnacle of the armed forces, mentioned in a video.
