Lavrov does not exclude high-level meeting between US and Iran

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has not excluded high- level meeting between the US and Iran at some stage and noted that Moscow will welcome this step, Sergey Lavrov said at the meeting of Valday Discussion Club, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

He noted that working style of US Administration indicates the possibility of adoption of any decisions and contacts: “Everything is possible in life. To say frankly, I do not exclude that high-level meeting between US and Iran takes place. We will welcome it, and if the problems arising around the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan are treated fairly, we will be just happy for this.”
