On the uncontrolled territory of the Luhansk region in the city of Chervonopartizansk, nine people died at the Krasny Partisan mine on Monday, according to a source in the “LPR”, APA reports citing Interfax.
It is alleged that the tragedy occurred as a result of the breakage of the rope of the transport cage at the mine.
“As a result of the accident, nine people were killed,” – said a source in the “emergency services”.
He added that there were 25 people in the cage at the time the rope broke.
“There is no information on the rest of those caught in the cage yet,” the source said.
