Pashinyan: “Strategic partnership with Russia is one of main factors of Armenia’s security”

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers the deepening of strategic cooperation with Russia a priority for Armenia, APA reports citing TASS.

He said this while presenting 5-years plan for the new government at today’s meeting of the parliament.

The Prime minister noted that the strategic partnership with Russia is one of the main factors of Armenia’s security.

“I would like especially note the strategic alliance with the Russian Federation which is one of the main factors of the architecture of security of our country. Agreement about the friendship, cooperation and mutual support between Armenia and Russia, Agreement about the joint grouping of Armenian and Russian Armed forces increase the opportunities of 12th base of Russia in our country”, he said.
