Russian, Iranian FMs discussed situation in S Caucasus

Russian and Iranian Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Huseyn Amir Abdullahian have discussed cooperation in the Caspian region, the situation in the South Caucasus, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the joint press conference on finals of negotiations with his Iranian counterpart Huseyn Amir Abdullahian, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Lavrov said that they discussed in detail the bilateral relations, situation in Afghanistan and Syria at today’s negotiations: “Moreover, we have discussed cooperation in the Caspian region, ratification of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, the situation in the South Caucasus, processes in the Middle East and North Africa.”
