The robber of the Bank of Georgia branch in Kvareli has been arrested, APA reports citing Georgian Journal.
According to the available information, the law enforcers are already leaving the area. Special equipment is no longer present at the scene.
"Several hours of special operation have been successfully completed. The officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained and neutralized the person who was in the bank and who had taken hostages", - said Keti Kovziashvili, the head of the public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

An armed person allegedly broke into the branch of the Bank of Georgia in Kvareli, APA reports citing Georgian Journal.
According to unofficial information, there are several employees and customers in the bank. It is also reported that the man who broke into the bank has a grenade.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not commented on the incident yet.
