Measures to be implemented to include Khudafarin bridges in the UNESCO World Heritage List

Republic of Azerbaijan intends to implement joint measures with the Islamic Republic of Iran to include Khudafarin bridges in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List taking into account its exceptional universal value, unique landscape, high architectural and engineering solution, as well as its location in the territory of the two countries, APA reports.

State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan has issued a statement in this regard.

Khudafarin bridges, one of the spectacular engineering structures of its time, is a magnificent historical monument located on the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
