Azerbaijan-Qatar friendship monument inaugurated in Doha

An opening ceremony of the "Brotherhood" monument symbolizing Azerbaijan-Qatar friendly relations was held in Doha, Qatar, Azerbaijani Culture Ministry told APA.

The monument was designed by Azerbaijani sculptor Novruz Musayev at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Qatar.

Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan who is on a visit to Qatar, Khaled Al-Sulaiti, general manager of The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara, Rashad Ismayilov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Qatar, representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Qatar and the media attended the opening ceremony.
