Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabkh prepared video on Uzeyir Hajibayli’s life in English

Azerbaijan Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Region of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared a video clip on life of Uzeyir Hajibayli, the founder of national music of Azerbaijan, in English on the occasion of National Music Day, APA reports.

The video clip highlights Uzeyir Hajibayli’s difficult life and chasing by Armenian terrorists. “After graduating Gori Teachers’ Seminary he was sent to Hadrut. He worked there as a teacher during a year. But when Armenian massacres against Azerbaijanis broke out in 1905, he was sent to a safer place- to the city of Yevlakh. On August 20, 1905, Uzeyir Hajibayli arrived in Baku by train. But here he also witnessed the massacres committed by the Armenian terrorists.”

“Armenian nationalists constantly threatened Uzayir Hajibayli’s life and work in Soviet ruling. Uzeyir continued his successful music career up until 1947, when he got some health problems. In the hospital he was treated by an Armenian doctor with a surname Osipyan who was deliberately mistreating him. It affects his heart and he began to suffer from heart attack. Later Moscow doctors confirmed that treatment was not properly conducted. In 1948, great composer passed away”, demonstared in the video clip.
