A memorial evening for People's Artist Tahir Salahov was held at the Azerbaijan pavilion at Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy in Moscow, APA’s correspondent reports.
Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, well-known representatives of the Russian and Azerbaijani public attended the event.
An exhibition of Tahir Salahov's works from private collections was organized as part of the event, and a presentation of Raya Abbasova's book "Dialogue" about the life and work of the People's Artist was held.
At the same time, Tahir Salahov's grandson Kayhan Salahov's video installation "Infinity" was presented at the memorial evening.
Head of “Azerbaijan” pavilion Saadat Kadirova has noted that the memorial evening is an important event.
