A rally in support of the Azerbaijani Army is being held in Washington, DC., APA reports.
Azerbaijani activists living in the United States, especially in New York and Boston, are taking part in the protest in front of the Armenian embassy in Washington.
It was noted that initially a peaceful rally was held in front of the Congress building in Washington, where no slogans were chanted: "Because this action was not allowed, only 20-25 minutes were given. Then there was a march towards the Armenian embassy with flags at a distance of about 16-17 km. The slogans "Freedom for Karabakh", "Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan", "Martyrs never die, the homeland will never be divided" were chanted. Although the Armenian embassy asked the police to stop the protest, the police did not intervene. A peaceful protest is underway in front of the embassy."
