The politicians of the Azerbaijani origin living in the Kingdom of Sweden have appealed to the foreign relations committee of this country’s Parliament, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.
The politicians of the Azerbaijani origin occupying political position in elective organs of the parties represented in the parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden, in regions and municipalities Aida Karimli, Irada Aliyeva Söderberq, Turan Aliyev, Firudin Alasgarov, Khalida Marefat have addressed letter regarding Nagorno Garabagh issue to the foreign relations committee of the Kingdom of Sweden and 48 deputies of the committee.
The letter deals with importance of ensuring of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity based on international law due to occupation by Armenia’s army of Azerbaijan’s Nagorno Garabagh and surrounding regions. Also the call was made in the letter upon the Swedish state for becoming more active in this issue.
