Out tricolor flag was raised to air under sounds of our national anthem in front of office of mayor of Chicago city of Illinois state in the US on occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day on October 18, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.
Approximately about 50 our compatriots participated in the event organized by the Azerbaijani Center of Midwest America - ACMA. Thereby, the solidarity of the world Azerbaijanis was reflected, the attention of the American wide public was attracted to the terrorist acts committed by the occupant Armenian army in Ganja City, killing of civilian persons, especially juvenile children.
