Committee Chairman of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis considered amendments to laws important against the background of Zangazur corridor opening

A meeting of the Committee of Milli Majlis on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship was held today, the press service of Milli Majlis told APA.

Chairman of Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili talked about the efficiency of state policy pursued in the economic field, mentioned the importance of free economic zones.

The chairman of the committee stressed the importance of clearly defining the legal framework for attracting investment to the free economic zone. He noted the changes that have taken place since the adoption of the law "On Alat free economic zone" in 2018, new economic opportunities created in the region by Azerbaijan's victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, the bill put into discussion against the background of the reality of opening the Zangazur transport corridor.
