Election to Public Council under MES held

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Participation” and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 171 “On the election of Public Council by civil society institutions” dated May 30, 2014, election to the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held, APA reports.

The event has been attended by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Tapdig Amiraslanov.

Note that the candidacy of 15 people for membership to the Council from civil society institutions has been approved. 27 representatives from 41 representatives registered for participation as electors from civil society institutions have participated in the election.
Staff, including 15 persons, of the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, has been elected as a result of the transparent election as following:
