"We should closely work with Co-Chair countries", said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the briefing today, APA reports.
J. Bayramov said that the Azerbaijani side has stated its position on France's unilateral, biased support to Armenia: "We should state our position in regard to such cases, avoid from a dialogue. Although it is difficult to deliver a fair word, it is possible to achieve it."
Foreign Minister noted that Russia is a neighboring country of Azerbaijan: "We have strategic relations with Russia. We witnessed a balanced attitude to Azerbaijan and Armenia by the Russian side during the recent 10 days, neutral position was maintained. Russia calls for ceasefire soon and we accept it as normal."
Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev brought to the attention that a result has not been obtained due to the non-constructive position of Armenia: "If Co-Chairs are concerned on it, they should review their working methods. There will be a result, if activity is set on the basis of UN resolutions, concrete timeframe. All countries of the Minsk Group should be active. Azerbaijan has always appealed for positions of European countries, participating in the Minsk Group. Not responding to Armenia in time adequately is one of the reasons for intensive situation of today."
