“The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) always supports the rightful cause of Azerbaijan”, said at a press conference Ali Asgar Mohammadi, member of OIC observation mission observing the snap parliamentary election, APA reports.
He said 2 members of the observation mission observed the election process at 8 polling stations in Baku.
“Despite the very severe weather condition, the people were participating in the voting. The observers tracked everything very attentively at the polling stations. This was an important moment. The elections went on in the democratic condition, and therefore I congratulate the Azerbaijani people. I wish the Azerbaijani internally displaced people to return to Nagorno Garabagh being their native land as soon as possible”, Ali Asgar Mohammadi noted.
