Azerbaijani Parliament adopts law "On cultural capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha"-UPDATED

The draft law "On cultural capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha" has been discussed in the Parliament, APA reports.

The draft law has been put in a vote after discussions and adopted in the third reading.

The draft law "On cultural capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha" has been put in a discussion in the third reading at the meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament today, APA reports.

The draft law has been presented by Chairwoman of Cultural Committee of the Parliament Ganira Pashayeva.

Chairwoman of the Committee noted the draft law consists of 15 articles.

According to the draft law, Shusha city State Reserve will be established within the administrative borders of cultural capital of Azerbaijan Shusha city.

Borders of protection zone will be determined by the public legal person in the territories, which are located adjacent to administrative borders of Shusha city and have a relation with it from natural landscape, social, historical, cultural, or agricultural point of view, or have importance for preservation, protection, and development of Shusha city State Reserve.
