Two Armenian servicemen attacked and stabbed Azerbaijani soldier

On August 25, Shiraliyev Ruslan Nariman oglu, a soldier serving in the State Border Service's Border Troops border checkpoint in the direction of the part of the Gorus-Gafan road near Ashagi Cibikli village of Gubadli region, was suddenly attacked and stabbed by two servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces, the State Border Service told APA.

The Armenian servicemen saw that other border guards came to help and fled, taking advantage of the dense forest area.

The soldier was immediately evacuated to the military hospital of the State Border Service, and his life is not in danger.

All the responsibility for the incident lies with the Armenian side, and this provocation will be adequately responded to.
