President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the implementation of the law on making amendments to the Law "On establishment of awards and medals of the Azerbaijani Republic", dated October 14, 2016, and making amendments to the order “On rules of awarding some medals for military service”, dated June 25, 2004, in connection with the establishment of a medal “For Valor” of the Azerbaijani Republic.
According to the decree, the expression “For Valor” was added after the words “For distinction in military service” in the first part of the order “On rules of awarding some medals for military service”, dated June 25, 2004. The words “To chief of the State Security Service of Republic of Azerbaijan, Chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan” were added after the words “Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and the words “To Minister of National Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan” were removed.
