Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloghlu – APA. Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission has approved a protocol approving the results of the referendum, which was held Sept. 26 on making amendments to the country’s Constitution.
According to the protocol, the voter turnout during the referendum was 69.7 per cent across the country.
CEC dissolved election commissions of 6 polling stations over shortcomings at the constitutional referendum, completely cancelled the results in three polling stations and partially in one.
The Referendum Act was considered as adopted, since more than half of voters, who participated in the referendum, cast their ballots in favor of each of the 29 items in the draft Referendum Act.
