Azerbaijani MP Fazail Aghamali has called for the resignation of the country’s foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Addressing a special parliamentary session dedicated to the 1918 March Genocide against Azerbaijanis, the MP claimed that the Foreign Ministry’s work do not correspondent to the diplomacy of the offensive carried out by the country’s presidents.
He noted that Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov’s activity does not correspond to the priorities defined by President Ilham Aliyev to deliver realities about Azerbaijan to the world community.
“This is not pleasing to see. Elmar Mammadyarov had better resign, at this own initiative at least,” he said.
