Investors implementing investment projects in accordance with the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model will not pay duty, Chairman of Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship committee of Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyad Samadzade said this was considered in the draft law on amendments to the law on State duties.
According to article #3.3 offered to the Law on State Duties, the investors implementing investment projects in accordance with the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model are exempted from paying state duties.
