7 more Indian strain of coronavirus cases confirmed in Georgia

Seven more infection cases of Indian strain of novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, said General Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.

According to her, the spread ratio of the new virus in Georgia is 10-20%.

A Gamkrelidze noted that in total 27 infection cases of the Indian strain of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, which has been registered in 85 countries of the world.
