France doesn't plan to introduce another general lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus, country's Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire stated on Monday, APA reports citing Teletrader.

More to the point, the government spokesperson revealed shortly after that Paris currently has no intention of implementing movement limitations in order to stop the virus from spreading.

The number of daily recorded COVID-19 cases has been on the rise in France during the past week, with Thursday marking the highest spike in new infections since the start of the pandemic.
