Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called a Cabinet meeting on Sunday to work on a new state of emergency to stem the raging coronavirus pandemic - a move that could impose new curfews and other restrictions across the country to curb the surging rates, APA reports citing Sputnik.
Sanchez's government said Saturday night that a majority of Spain's regional leaders have agreed to a new state of emergency and the meeting Sunday was to wok out its full terms.
