A Turkish citizen who was attending a meeting with representatives of NATO troops at the Poti seaport has been diagnosed with coronavirus. Citizens of Georgia, as well as Turkey and the United States, also participated in the meeting, APA reports citing Georgian Journal.

According to the Deputy Director of the Poti Center for Public Health, the meeting was attended by 13 people, including two representatives of the Poti seaport, who were tested for COVID-19 yesterday and the answer will be known at the end of the day.

"The meeting was organized with representatives of NATO troops by the Ministry of Defense at the Poti seaport. Citizens of Georgia, as well as Turkey and the United States, participated in it. One of the Turkish citizen was diagnosed with coronavirus. He is currently in the Batumi Infectious Hospital. The meeting was attended by 13 people, including two representatives of our seaport. Both of them were tested yesterday and we are waiting for the results at the end of the day. Both have self-isolated themselves. Their condition is satisfactory today," said the Deputy Director of the Poti Public Health Center.
