Ukraine adds record 14,575 COVID cases, 229 deaths

Continuing the trend of recent days, Ukraine recorded a new record high of daily coronavirus cases on Friday, after 14,575 infections were reported in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 598,085 since the pandemic's outbreak, APA reports citing Teletrader.

According to the data provided by the country's health authorities, there were 229 daily deaths attributed to COVID, which brought the country's virus death toll to 10,598 since the start of the pandemic.

The number of people who managed to recover after having contracted the coronavirus reached 274,324, as 7,845 patients were reported to have recovered within the last day.
