French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday a €30 billion investment to address the "growth deficit" and accelerate innovation and industrialization as "the only way that will allow us to continue to finance our social model.", APA reports citing Teletrader.

Macron revealed France plans to invest €1 billion in small modular reactors as it seeks to reduce its carbon footprint by increasing nuclear energy production. He also stated France aims to become a leader in green hydrogen production by 2030 with at least two electrolyzer gigafactories.
