The Lietuvos Embassy reported that President Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė have paid an official visit to Georgia on June 10–12, APA reports citing Georgia Today.
During the visit, the President will meet with Salome Zurabishvili, President of Georgia, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, and Speaker of the Parliament Kakhaber Kutchava. The program of the visit also includes the President’s meeting with the local Lithuanian community and representatives of Georgia’s non-governmental organizations.
The President and his spouse will also meet with Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
This is the first official visit of President Gitanas Nausėda to Georgia.
